Controlled Flight Into Terrain, an Exercise in Stupidity

Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) claims lives every year, as pilots foolishly continue flying into situations where they are unable to see the ground. Here is a video of some folks literally coming within inches of becoming another statistic. It just boggles my mind that a pilot would fly near this terrain with this kind of weather, especially when there are other people in the aircraft with him. No flight is that important.
