About

Greetings, and thanks for stopping by.

I plan on using this blog to rant and rave about pretty much anything, though it will probably be a little heavy on the aviation side of things. I’m not a professional writer, so please don’t expect great things from me. You’ll just be getting my random thoughts and musings on various subjects. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Now you may be wondering who I am. My name is Tim Lincoln, and I am a FAA-licensed Commercial Pilot and A&P Mechanic. That does not mean I am an expert, by any means, but it does mean that I do sometimes know what I am talking about.

In 2012, I completed the Simulation and Game Development program at Wake Technical Community College, earning an A.A.S with a certificate in Mobile Game Development.

In the beginning of February, 2012, I was able to get my new career started by starting a job at Funcom. Unfortunately that job only lasted about six months before I was swept up in a second round of layoffs that took place at the end of that summer, but the experience there was great. In April of 2014, I was thrilled to be offered a job at Epic Games, working on the Engine User Support team that provides support for everyone using Unreal Engine 4. As with my job at Funcom, there are a lot of things I cannot talk about. I certainly do welcome any questions you may have, though.
