Boeing is once again getting involved with a study to find a viable “green” alternative to jet fuel. Not that this is a bad thing, of course. Anything that can both reduce our dependence on limited fossil fuels while simultaneously reducing the amount of junk we pump out into the atmosphere is definitely a good thing.
Boeing’s press release covers much the same information, though they also include a link to the website of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group. This is definitely worth keeping an eye on, though don’t expect results next week.
