Copa Airlines Orders Two More Boeing 737-800s

Boeing announced today an order for an additional two Boeing 737-800s from Copa Airlines. With a list value of $152 million, this brings the total number 737 aircraft that Copa currently has on order to 29. The CEO of Copa Airlines, Pedro Heilbron, said “With these aircraft we will continue to consolidate and strengthen our leadership position in the Latin American airline industry, providing our passengers a truly attractive product and our company a highly efficient aircraft with superior economics.”

Copa operates five of the world’s longest 737 routes from its hub at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.
